Launches
From early 1900 – 1960’s, Edward and Raymond Sankey captured the iconic ship, submarine and airship launches from Barrow’s world-famous shipyard. The launch day marks a turning point for the ship’s life. After years of construction by many hands, the vessel is finally ready to be launched into the sea.
