Floating Dock Affonso Penna, towed by tug Furness

7th,8th or 9th June 1910

This Brazilian floating dock was built to accommodate the Minas Gireas class battleships and was launched in 3 parts on three consecutive days. A party of workers on the floating dock are heaving a line to secure the tow from the tug 'Furness'. Rowing boats are recovering flotsam from the launch.
