View of 4-6-2 tender locomotive, Sir Aubrey Brocklebank at the granite quarry at Beckfoot in Eskdale. Driver and three well-dressed men in an open coach and another standing on the track. A group of quarry workers can be seen in the distance. Built in 1919, it was the railway's flagship locomotive on passenger duties. In 1927 the engine was dismantled and used in the construction of the new River Mite locomotive. See D422/D423 See 424
