"Tomorrow we're going to sea at Loschasan- Milgravis -a nothern suburb of Riga-. For two days here were lots of rain and storms; now the weather is fine and warm. I won't go for a radio now -or possibly I wont be on the radio- but straight home. Greetings until we meet again. Yours Mārtinš”

| Date Posted: | The mystery about this postcard is why a postcard showing a scene from Barrow-in-Furness has a Latvian postmark on it and was sent to Latvia. It is presumably written in either Latvian or Russian. This postcard was translated for us by 'Latvian Public Media'- place name unclear then another name in quotation marks - maybe a boat name? Milgravis -a nothern suburb of Riga-. For two days here were lots of rain and storms; now the weather is fine and warm.
