Kirkstone Pass
February 1925 - July 1927
Looking Northeast up the Ambleside to Kirkstone Pass Inn road which is known as “The Struggle”. Road winds up hill to the just visible inn. Car parked at side of road, three ladies wearing wet weather clothing, two with walking sticks are walking down the road. Left hand fells are Raven Crag and Red Screes.To right is St Ravens Edge, behind that in distance is Caudale Head.
