Looking northeast along Station Street from near the junction with Penrith Road towards Latrigg. A boy leans on the corner against a gas lamp which doubles as a fingerpost sign while the new war memorial is prominent opposite. Many people walk towards town from the station - a train must have just arrived - while others are transported by a small charabanc and a horse bus - to hotels, perhaps.
