Portrait view up Flag Street in the now (2022) pedestrianised area of Hawkshead beyond the Kings Arms. Narrow alley with overhanging second storeys. The gable end on the left hand side has shingle hung slates, while the other has light coloured dashing and appears to have a metal grill over the top window.
